No Snooze

Somehow (a miracle of fate perhaps), I woke up before my alarm clock went off. Now, as many of you know I don’t get up, as a rule.

Let me give you an example: the night before last I swear I sleep walked all the way to my alarm clock, switched it off and then climbed back into bed. How did I manage that!? I don’t remember switching the alarm clock off…

Anyway, back to the story - I’m awake. Oh, and I now have a laptop which seriously needs fixing. I, under the advice of ‘the evil one’, installed a pre-alpha operating system (Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, for those who care). Yes, pre-alpha, meaning development on it hadn’t really started properly. It worked. Perfectly. Once. Second or third restart, it decided “Aha Jordan, I will mock you. I hate your guts and I will mock you. Here is a lot of meaningless text!”….

“Damn”, I thought. Re-install…. :(
