Apple goes bankrupt, Microsoft ‘buys out’ the iPod design
Monday, July 24th, 2006Finally, Apple has been taken over. Although I’d have preferred the Apple to go to some open-source Linux community, which would have been better, at least it has gone to Microsoft. Based on recent news, Microsoft have purchased all relevent patents from Apple employees, and intend to ‘relauch’ the iPod under a new name and [...]
Support regarding commonly used software
Tuesday, July 18th, 2006Last year a friend of mine upgraded from Girlfriend 6.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that it’s a memory hog leaving very little system resources available for other applications. He is now noticing that Wife 1.0 is also spawning Child Processes which are further consuming valuable resources. No mention of this particular phenomena was included [...]

I’m a programmer and I’m half okay…

I muck with indices and structs all day,
And when it works, I shout hoo-ray.
Oh, I am a C programmer and I’m okay.
Oh, I am a Java programmer and I’m not okay.
I type ‘javac’ and then I wait and pray;
So damn slow, only works well on a Cray.
Oh, [...]
